We know that your vision is a vital aspect of your life and that your glasses are a reflection of your personality. Your eye exam will not only provide you with an updated prescription for new glasses but will also allow Dr. Adeleke to check for signs of underlying diseases.
We understand that doctor’s appointments can be a cause of stress for many people. Rest assured that all of the instruments that we use in our office are painless and non-invasive.
At your appointment, we will be able to determine the prescription of your current glasses and will perform testing to check for a change. If you’re interested in starting (or continuing) to wear contact lenses, Dr. Adeleke may also perform a contact lens evaluation. At Northpoint Eye Studio, we offer a variety of lens options from daily replacement lenses to specialty lens designs such as ortho-keratology and scleral lenses.
Not interested in glasses or contact lenses? No problem! We also offer evaluations for surgical vision correction and referrals to local North Carolina LASIK surgeons!
Don’t forget that one of the most important aspects of a routine exam is to monitor for signs of eye disease. Dr. Adeleke will use a series of lights and lenses to check the health of your eyes, and if she notices anything of concern, such as allergies or dry eye syndrome, some additional tests may be performed or follow-up appointments may be recommended. Co-management with glaucoma, cataract, and retinal surgeons is also available as needed.
